The contractor shall also provide a 10% discount on anodes and x-ray tubes/sources, and a 10% discount on training. All services must be performed by factory-trained service engineers. Excluded from coverage are third-party items not specifically identified, consumables, computers and peripherals, and x-ray tubes. The government retains the right to conduct basic maintenance and attempt simple adjustments or repairs under contractor telephone direction; however, the contractor maintains final responsibility for successful repairs. Modifications and component exchanges require approval from the Contracting Officer or Contracting Officer's Technical Representative (COTR).

Statement of Work
The Contractor shall provide emergency and scheduled maintenance to preserve the original equipment performance of the D8 Discover DaVinci XRD instrument owned by the NASA Glenn Research Center.
Coverage shall include all hardware purchased with the Empyrean except as excluded by the agreement.
Coverage shall specifically include, but is not limited to:
Free telephone support Unlimited remote desktop support Bruker software updates Priority response Augmented reality support Planned maintenance (travel and labor included) Planned maintenance parts Verify radiation safeties Repair parts (excluding x-ray source) Labor and travel (unlimited) Detector coverage LabScape cloud services (supported systems only) 10% discount on anodes and x-ray tubes/sources 10% discount on training stated performance when necessary, instructions. The Contractor shall exchange or modify components when in the best interest of the Government and approved by the Contracting Officer or Contracting Officer's Technical Representative
(COTR).
In addition to the regularly scheduled maintenance visit, the Contractor shall provide unlimited emergency service visits and unlimited technical phone support at no additional cost during regular business hours (8:00am - 5:00 pm). In the case of breakdowns making the instruments inoperable, the Contractor shall respond within 48 hours during normal business hours after the request for service from the Contracting Officer or Contracting Officer's Technical Representative (COTR).
The Government may conduct basic maintenance. Also, the Government may choose to attempt simple adjustments or repairs under telephone direction by the Contractor when it is in the Government's best interest to quickly correct problems; however successful repairs remain the Contractor's final responsibility.
All services shall be performed by factory-trained service engineers.
All third-party items not specifically identified above, consumables, computers and peripherals, and X-ray tubes need not be covered by the service contract.
Period of performance is 9/10/2026 to 9/09/2027
