The requirement encompasses a KRÜSS DSA100 Expert Drop Shape Analyzer system or equal, including hardware, software modules, a desktop computer, installation, and training. The hardware consists of a high-resolution camera (CF04) with 1920 x 1200 pixel resolution and 2300 fps frame rate, optical system (CM3200) with 7x zoom capability, a prism for sample measurements (CM3250), software-controlled dosing hub (NM3220) with pressure dosing and syringe dosing units, z-axis and x/y positioning stages, standard sample stage, high-power LED illumination, and standard frame. The system operates at +10°C to +40°C without condensation and stores at -10°C to +70°C without condensation. Three required software modules include AD3221 (Contact Angle Module) for static and dynamic contact angle measurements with 0-180° measuring range and 0.01° resolution, AD3223 (Surface and Interfacial Tension Module) with 0.01-2000 mN/m measuring range and 0.01 mN/m resolution, and AD62 (Surface Free Energy Module). The COMPDESK desktop control module must include Windows 11 Pro 64-bit operating system, 16GB memory, 256GB solid state drive, and 22" HD monitor, with a 2-year warranty provided through the PC manufacturer. Installation and training service (IAT-ONSITE-A) includes unpacking, setup, system checks, and basic user training covering operation, hardware/software, data management, sample preparation, and analysis interpretation, typically requiring four to eight hours. The place of performance is NASA Langley Research Center at 6 West Taylor Street, Hampton, VA 23681, with a period of performance of 30 days ARO (as required/ordered).
