STATEMENT OF WORK
1. Objective/Requirements To provide comprehensive preventative maintenance, emergency repair services and technical support for all perimeter security barriers at NASA Headquarters, 300 E Street, SW, Washington, DC 20546 1 – Future Wedge 3600 Hydraulic Barrier with Separate Gate Arm and Stop Light 3 – Future Wedge 1400 Barrier and Gate Arm
2. Characteristics, Scope, and Specs Procure the following items:
2-year agreement with options to maintain and repair the security barriers at Headquarters Building. Include all parts and labor requirements for IDIQ maintenance and repair as well as emergency maintenance and repair if barriers require.
Preventative maintenance Contractor shall perform scheduled inspections including but not limited to:
Mechanical systems Electrical Systems Safety Features Hydraulics Software/Firmware
Corrective Maintenance and Repairs Emergency Service – 24/7/365 emergency response Response times – Critical failure: Onsite within 3 hours | Non-critical: onsite within 2 business days.
Parts Inventory
Performance Standards All work must comply with standard security barrier operations, safety and systems governance as well as local building and electrical codes.
Deliverables and Reporting Field Service Report Unit Health Assessment Future Recommendations
Contractor Requirements Technicians must have the appropriate certifications, clearances, and safety training required by the OEM standards to accomplish work with proficiency.
