About this file
This document is a NASA Shared Services Center Recommendation and Determination to Solicit from One Source form for an extended warranty for EOS M290 and M100 machines. The document recommends sole source procurement from an unspecified vendor who has proprietary technologies for these machines, with a one-year contract period starting from January 30, 2026. The justification emphasizes that no other vendor can satisfy the maintenance requirements, and using alternative sources would void existing warranties and maintenance contracts.
Key technical justifications include the vendor's exclusive capability to perform hardware and software maintenance while maintaining compatibility with peripheral systems, and the necessity of maintaining ISO9001 equipment calibration standards. The document highlights that the vendor has sole propriety to the technologies involved in the EOS M290 and M100 machines, making competition impractical. The form is dated 12/18/2025 and follows a standard NASA template for documenting sole source procurement rationale.
