About this file
This Statement of Work (SOW) is for NASA Goddard's Opto-Mechanical Design and Fabrication project for the Landolt mission. The vendor will be responsible for providing opto-mechanical design and fabrication of assembled parts, specifically requiring expertise with the Landolt mission system, including element wheel, bus interfaces, laser tray architecture, finite element analysis (FEA), thermal analysis, and radiation simulations.
Key contract details include minimal schedule risk, vendor-managed tasks with project coordination supported by a point of contact, and regular meetings with the DPI. Status reports will be provided monthly, and work will be conducted from the vendor's offices. The document also includes two notable AI-related clauses effective September 2025, requiring contractors to disclose AI technology use during contract performance and providing additional requirements for AI system acquisitions, though the specific project has no AI-related work planned.
