About this file

The Statement of Work (SOW) details NASA Glenn Research Center's requirement for procuring accelerometers and associated signal conditioners as direct replacements for existing obsolete sensors. The sensor specifications include annular charge accelerometers with 360-degree cable orientation, charge sensitivity of 10 pC/g, hermetic seal with high-temperature capability up to 250ºC, frequency response of ≥10 kHz, mass ≤12g, natural frequency ≥45 kHz, and vibration limit ≥1000g. Signal conditioner requirements specify a 19" rack mount PE charge amplifier with SE or differential capability, programmable AC and DC outputs with linear voltage of 0 to +/- 10V, programmable acceleration/velocity/displacement outputs, TTL warning/alarm output, and programmable filters including band pass, high pass, and low pass.
