This document is a Special Notice for a sole source contract opportunity from NASA's Shared Services Center (NSSC). NASA intends to award a contract to Texas A&M Engineering Experiment Station (TEES) to model, predict, and report on a two-phase thermosyphon driven actuating radiator for the PaCeSS EIF project. The project requires TEES to provide an actuator for developing a mechanical and fluid interface to the PaCeSS test article, with an integrated benchtop test to be performed at NASA Johnson Space Center (JSC) by September 2025. The actuator will be returned after testing, and the procurement is classified under NAICS Code 611310. Interested organizations may submit capabilities and qualifications in writing by 7 a.m. Central Standard Time on 3/13/2025, with the government reserving discretion on competitive solicitation based on received responses.
