About this file

This Statement of Work outlines NASA Goddard Space Flight Center's requirement for quantum computing consulting services and computing time to develop a quantum phase unwrapping algorithm for interferometric synthetic aperture radar data. The contractor must provide 64 hours of consulting services to develop a Quadratic Unconstrained Binary Optimization (QUBO) algorithm for solving integer phase uncertainties in radar data, plus 20 hours of access to Dirac devices, including Dirac-3, to demonstrate the algorithm's effectiveness.

The work will be performed via e-delivery to NASA GSFC during FY25, with completion required by September 30th, 2025. The contract specifies two line items: Quantum Computing Inc Senior Programmer Labor and Quantum Computing Inc. Dirac-3 computing time. This appears to be a sole source requirement based on the associated federal contract opportunity information.

STATEMENT OF WORK

1. Objective/Requirements

This requirement is for the acquisition of consulting services and time on quantum solvers for developing a quantum phase unwrapping algorithm for interferometric synthetic aperture radar data for NASA Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC).

2. Characteristics, Scope, and Specs

The chosen Contractor shall provide 64 hours of consulting services, which shall be provided to develop a Quadratic Unconstrained Binary Optimization (QUBO) algorithm that can solve for the integer phase uncertainties in interferometric synthetic aperture radar data. The chosen Contractor shall also provide 20 hours of access to the entire line of Dirac devices, including Dirac-3, which shall be provided along with the consulting services to demonstrate the efficacy of the algorithm.

QTY DESCRIPTION
