About this file

This document is a Statement of Work (SOW) for a federal contract opportunity to support the planning and execution of student launch opportunities at the NASA Wallops Flight Facility (WFF). The contractor, Student Projects IN Space, LLC (SPINS), will provide a range of services including selecting student teams, scheduling and conducting technical reviews, creating documentation, onsite support for integration and launch activities, and travel support.

The SOW covers support for the RockOn, RockSat-C, RockSat-X, GHOST, and Minority Serving Institution (MSI) RockOn student launch programs from October 2024 to September 2025. Key requirements include selecting teams, managing the review process, providing instruction materials, integrating and launching experiments, and recovering and analyzing data. The work will primarily be performed in Arvada, Colorado with travel to WFF. This is a sole source contract opportunity due to the specialized expertise and 17 years of experience of the incumbent, Chris Koehler, in supporting these student launch programs.
