About this file

This is a Statement of Work for the procurement of one industrial hydraulic press brake system configured as a "Brand Name or Equal" to the AMADA HRB 8025. The contractor must deliver all equipment, freight, installation, and initial operational training to Keesler Air Force Base, Building 3916, 303 Larcher Boulevard, Mississippi 39534.

The hydraulic press brake must meet or exceed specific structural and capacity baselines including: minimum 88-ton press capacity (800 kN), 102-inch minimum bending/bed length, 86-inch minimum clearance between housings, 9.8-inch minimum stroke length, 20-inch minimum open height for tooling setup, and 17.5-inch minimum throat depth. The drive system must be servo-hydraulic hybrid or variable-speed inverter-driven with minimum 120 mm/sec approach/return speed and minimum 15 mm/sec adjustable bending speed. Control and automation features must include an automatic CNC crowning or natural deflection compensation system, a high-speed programmable five-axis (X, Delta-X, R, Z1, Z2) CNC backgauge, a 3D-graphical CNC touchscreen controller with minimum 18-inch display featuring simplified operating mode for varying skill levels, and a quick-change tool-less clamping system for standard European style tooling rated for 80-100 tons/m. The contractor shall provide full turn-key installation including off-loading, rigging, leveling, and electrical/hydraulic commissioning, minimum two days of on-site operational and safety training for up to four technicians during normal duty hours (Monday-Thursday, 6:15 a.m.–4:15 p.m., excluding lunch and federal holidays), and a minimum one-year comprehensive OEM warranty covering all parts, labor, and travel.

Requirement: Industrial Hydraulic Press Brake

The contractor shall provide all equipment, freight, installation, and initial operational training for one (1) Hydraulic Press Brake. The system must be configured as a “Brand Name or Equal” to the AMADA HRB 8025. Any equivalent press brake must meet or exceed the following structural and capacity baselines to be equal:

Salient Characteristics

A. Physical & Performance Specifications:

• Press Capacity: Minimum 88 Tons (800 kN).

• Bending/Bed Length: Minimum 102 inches.

• Clearance Between Housings: Minimum 86 inches.

• Stroke Length: Minimum 9.8 inches.

• Open Height: Minimum 20 inches (without punch holders) for tooling setup clearance.

• Throat Depth: Minimum 17.5 inches clearance for deep part flanges.

• Drive System: Must be a Servo-Hydraulic Hybrid or Variable-Speed Inverter-Driven Hydraulic system.

• Approach/Return Speed: Minimum 120 mm/sec.

• Bending Speed: Minimum 15 mm/sec, precision adjustable.

B. Control & Automation Features:

• Crowning System: Must have an automatic CNC crowning or natural deflection compensation system across the entire length without manual shimming.

• CNC Backgauge: Must be a high-speed, programmable backgauge with a minimum of 5 axes of control (X, Delta-X, R, Z1, Z2) to execute multi-step bending sequences without manual adjustment.

• Controller: Must feature a 3D-graphical CNC touchscreen controller (minimum 18-inch display) with a simplified operating mode to enable safe operation and simulation by varying skill level personnel.

• Tooling Setup: Must have a quick-change, tool-less clamping system for standard European style tooling, rated to withstand minimum 80 tons/m and maximum 100 tons/m.

C. Delivery, Installation, & Training:

• Delivery: Contractor shall deliver the equipment FOB Destination to Bldg 3916, 303 Larcher Blvd, Keesler AFB, MS 39534.The building does have a loading dock but does not have a forklift or other equipment to off-load equipment.

• Installation: Contractor shall provide full turn-key installation, including off-loading, rigging, leveling, and full electrical/hydraulic commissioning.

• Training: Contractor shall provide a minimum of two (2) days of on-site operational and safety training for up to four (4) technicians upon successful installation. Training must be accomplished during normal 81 TRSS duty hours: Monday-Thursday, 6:15 a.m. – 4:15 p.m., excluding 11:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. lunch hour and federal holidays.

D. Warranty:

• A minimum 1-year comprehensive OEM warranty covering all parts, labor, and travel is required.
