Salient Characteristics
Drive-on Floating Dock

1. Scope
This specification document addresses the purchase of one drive on portable boat lift for Tyndall Air Force Base, Florida.
1.1. Background
Tyndall Air Force Base requires a quick reaction floating dock that provides the benefits of preventive maintenance support abilities. The floating dock will prevent marine life build up and extend the life of the boat and its components.
2. Requirements
2.1. General
This requirement is for the purchase of one (1) floating dock. Assembly/installation will be provided by the supplier. Installation and assembly is required.
2.2. Specifications and Characteristics
2.2.1. Description
The floating dock must be pneumatic and able to lift the vessel out of the water for ease of launch and recovery, as well as maintenance. The modular dock system must be 15’x35’ in order to accommodate a 29’ vessel. The floating dock system must be able to accommodate a 29’ vessel that weighs just under 13,000lbs.
2.2.2. Dimensions
The modular dock system must be 15’x35’ in order to accommodate the 29’ vessel.
2.2.3. Capacity
The floating dock system must be able to accommodate the 29’ vessel that weighs just under 13,000lbs. A floating dock solution must accommodate both the size and the weight of the boat.
3. Installation and Delivery Address
3.1. Vendor will provide carrier/installer tracking information and contact info for the date and time of delivery/installation no later than one week prior to shipment.

3.3. Installation location will be determined prior to submitting purchase.
