About this file

This specification sheet details a federal contract opportunity for material delivery to Mountain Home Air Force Base (MHAFB) for a K-SPAN construction project. The 823d RED HORSE Squadron requires four specific material types: 1,295 U.S. tons of 0.75-inch Aggregate Base Course (delivered in two phases by 18 June and 8 August), 362 U.S. tons of #4 Rock Crushed concrete (also in two phases), 250 Cubic Yards of 4000 psi concrete (delivered in multiple stages starting 3 July and 9 August), and 55 Tons of Sand (to be delivered by 18 June).

The document includes comprehensive material specifications and testing requirements, with detailed ASTM standard tests for soils and concrete, including sieve analysis, specific gravity measurements, temperature testing, slump tests, and cylinder/beam creation. Delivery is strictly controlled, with specific coordination requirements involving the 823 RHS and 819 RHS Project Managers. The performance period is from 18 June 2025 to 31 October 2025, with deliveries to be made during standard business hours (6AM-6PM) at Mountain Home AFB, using specific commercial gate and delivery site coordinates. Contractors must adhere to military installation security procedures and provide a qualified supervisor who can make on-site decisions.
