About this file

This document appears to be a Sources Sought notice for a federal contract opportunity to provide and install a 50 x 50 foot red cedar pergola at the VA's SimVET facility in Orlando, Florida. The key details are:

The government is seeking a contractor who can furnish, assemble, and install the pergola, which must meet Florida building codes for wind loads. The pergola must have specific dimensions and structural elements, including 8x8 inch posts, 4x10 inch beams, 2x8 inch rafters, and 2x2 inch shade planks. The contract will include incidental construction to anchor the posts to an existing concrete pad.

This is a Sources Sought notice only, not a solicitation. Interested parties should submit a capability statement by August 7, 2024 including company information, socioeconomic status, and evidence of past/current similar work. The government will use the responses to make an appropriate acquisition decision regarding the pergola requirement under NAICS code 238990, with a $19 million size standard.
