The procurement seeks HH60W Left- and Right-Hand Weapon System Covers and Cockpit Covers, with the brand name reference being Envelop protective covers (Model 122261 for cockpit cover). The Government requires five each of cockpit covers, right-hand weapon system covers, and left-hand weapon system covers (15 units total). The cockpit cover must be a form-fitting fabric cover with nylon straps/buckles that affix to the aircraft nose to protect windshields and windows from damage, corrosion, and dirt. The weapon system covers must be form-fitting fabric covers with nylon straps/buckles that cover the entire left and right weapon systems and accommodate multiple configurations, including GAU-21 left and GAU-2 right, dual GAU-21s, dual GAU-2s, weapon mount only, and weapon mount plus cradle. All covers must be safe for aircraft use with minimal foreign object damage (FOD) risk, feature a "remove before flight" streamer, and be constructed of subdued-colored fabric in either desert tan or USAF grey. The cockpit cover portion contacting windshields and windows must not cause damage to glass or polymer surfaces. Delivery must occur within 180 days after receipt of order, and a minimum one-year standard commercial warranty covering parts and labor is required.
