The project involves constructing temporary ground boarding enclosures to support six ground boarding gate operations during the airport's terminal concourse expansion. The addendum provides updates to the pre-bid conference agenda, minutes, and attendance record, as well as changes to the electrical drawings. The project is to be completed in multiple phases over 178 calendar days, with liquidated damages of $1,000 to $2,000 per calendar day if the phases are not completed on time. Bidders must acknowledge receipt of the addendum, and bids are due on April 2, 2024, at 1:30 PM EST. The project is non-federally funded, with a 1.37% DBE goal, and the Davis-Bacon Act applies.

The addendum also provides details on safety and security requirements, site access and staging, foreign object debris control, and bid proposal requirements, including the need for a bid bond, payment and performance bonds, and compliance with state and local contractor registration and tax requirements. The project engineer is AECOM, and the contact for the Savannah Airport Commission is Jim Aiello, Assistant Director of Engineering.
