About this file
This document is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife (ODFW) for Alfalfa Hay, Opportunity #63500-00003824. The RFQ requires the delivery of 400 tons of first or second cutting alfalfa hay that is weed-free, fine-stemmed, and in 3'x4'x8' bales by September 15, 2022. All hay must comply with the Wallowa County Hay Quarantine Law, which requires the hay to be harvested from fields certified weed-free by a North American Weed Management Association inspector and accompanied by a Wallowa County Weed Free Forage Program Transit certificate. The RFQ will be awarded as a Purchase Order, and no protests will be accepted.
The RFQ specifies that all pricing must be held firm for 30 days, and the vendor must be a certified firm in Oregon to be considered. The RFQ does not mention any set-asides, incumbents, or funding sources, but it states that the ODFW will determine if a product offered is "equal" to the specified brand name after the bid closing.
