About this file

The document is a Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Buy American Certificate (52.225-2) dated October 2022, which requires offerors to certify the origin and domestic content of end products in a solicitation. The certificate mandates that offerors identify:

  1. Domestic end products, including those with critical components
  2. Foreign end products manufactured in the United States, specifying their country of origin and whether they exceed 55% domestic content
  3. Commercially available off-the-shelf (COTS) items

The offeror must complete tables listing line item numbers for domestic and foreign end products, indicating their origin and domestic content percentage. The government will evaluate offers according to Part 25 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation, which governs purchases of supplies and construction materials.
