This is an example of the Labor Categories and Descriptions. If additional labor categories are necessary to complete work, such categories and rates will be established at the TASK ORDER LEVEL.

Engineer, Senior (Mechanical, Electrical and Data Center/I.T. Infrastructure)

Manages subordinate engineers or professional staff and performs engineering work in basic and applied research, development and/or design. Prepares and monitors project budgets. Has overall responsibility for the profitability of his projects. Serves as a senior project manager or senior project engineer on complex projects and as a designated client contact. Responsible for control of work-in-process, ensures accurate client billings, and monitors outstanding accounts receivable and collection efforts on his projects. Analyzes system/equipment to establish operating data and conducts tests. Analyzes reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, tests, and aerial photographs on soil composition, terrain, hydrological characteristics, and other topographical and geologic data to plan and design project. A high degree of creative ability, engineering skill and independent judgment required.
15 years of experience in engineering, mathematics, physics, or computer science
Graduate from an accredited university or college with a minimum BS degree in engineering (e.g., civil, electrical, mechanical) or associated science (chemistry, physics, environmental sciences) education in an applicable field of engineering, mathematics, physics, or computer science

Project Manager, Senior

Oversees project execution, provides advice, guidance, and support for contract needs; including, proposal preparation, subcontract administration, project support, experience in estimating, scheduling, cost control. Responsible for task and project performance, emphasis on planning, leadership, and communication.

10 years of experience; must include 8 years of project management

Graduate from an accredited university or college with a minimum BS degree in engineering, or associated science

Project Manager

Oversees project execution, provides advice, guidance, and support for contract needs; including assistance with proposal preparation, subcontract administration, project support, estimating, scheduling, cost control. Responsible for task and project performance, emphasis on planning, coordination, and communication.

4 years of experience; must include 2 years of project management

Graduate from an accredited university or college with a minimum BS degree

Construction Manager

Serves as liaison between the Project Manager, field staff and client. Provides oversight of construction projects, monitoring progress and ensuring adherence to contract and subcontract terms, performance, quality requirements and engineering specifications. Inspects intermediate to difficult and complex phases of construction. Estimates and documents work completion. Assists with change orders. Typically reports to the Project Manager or Sr. Construction Manager.

5 years of experience observing and monitoring construction projects
Prefer technical training beyond High School.

Architect

Exercises independent judgement in evaluation, selection, and use of standard techniques and solves problems when encountered. Has responsibility for finished plans, specifications, and material approval. Acts independently regarding architectural methods and complexities.

5 years of experience
Licensed architect with Bachelor of Architecture degree from an accredited college/university.
Commissioning Agent
Manages subordinate engineers or professional staff and has technical background and in-depth expertise with the commissioning process including verification techniques, functional performance testing, system equipment and operations and maintenance knowledge. Must have significant in-building commissioning experience, including technical and management expertise on projects of similar scope, size and type. Shall bring a total building commissioning perspective to the project, be knowledgeable in national building mechanical and electrical codes, national building fire codes, as well as water-based extinguishing systems, detection systems, and demonstrate experience with federal requirements (i.e., blast, progressive collapse, security, etc.). Work requires a high degree of ability, engineering skill and judgment.

5 years of experience in engineering, mathematics, physics, or computer science and 5 years of specialized experience as commissioning agent.

Graduate from an accredited university or college with a minimum BS degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
