About this file

This is Amendment 3 to Solicitation 36C26026Q0337, issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office in Vancouver, Washington on March 3, 2026. The amendment extends the deadline for receipt of offers to March 9, 2026 at 10:00 AM PDT and provides responses to ten industry questions regarding the installation of patient ceiling lift systems across multiple clinical areas at a VA facility.

The solicitation addresses ceiling lift installation in three main areas: a Clinic (CLC), Intensive Care Unit (ICU), and a new clinic space. Key clarifications provided through this amendment confirm that the General Contractor is responsible for installing the lift systems and removing existing ICU and CLC lifts. The facility clarified that ICU and CLC work areas will not be active during construction, eliminating infectious control and isolation area (ICRA) concerns. Specific ceiling configurations were identified: all CLC rooms have hard ceilings, while ICU contains six drop ceiling rooms and four hard ceiling rooms. The contractor is responsible for minor patching, painting, and repairs in hard lid ceiling rooms. Building plans, reflected ceiling plans, floor plans, and structural plans are attached to the amendment to support the bidders' proposal development. The amendment notes that the Statement of Work has been amended to incorporate these clarifications and contractor requirements.
