About this file

This document is an Invitation for Bid (IFB) issued by the Arkansas Department of Transformation and Shared Services (TSS) Office of State Procurement (OSP) on behalf of the Arkansas Department of Agriculture. The IFB is for a one-time purchase of laboratory equipment, specifically mass comparators, with a minimum calibration range of 1 mg to 500 kg. The solicitation requires the successful contractor to provide five mass comparators meeting specific technical specifications for delivery within 30 calendar days to the Arkansas Bureau of Standards in Little Rock. The initial contract term is for one year, with the option to renew for up to six additional one-year terms.

The IFB requires bidders to provide pricing on all five mass comparators and states that award will be made to the lowest bidding, responsible contractor on an all or none basis. The contractor must provide a standard one-year manufacturer's warranty covering defective materials and workmanship. The State reserves the right to return any products within 30 days of receipt for any reason under a "total satisfaction" return policy.
