About this file
This document is an Attachment D - Certified Disadvantaged Business Outreach Plan for a Hygiene Services procurement by the Oregon Department of Administrative Services (DAS) Procurement Services, dated August 16, 2021. The form is designed to encourage participation of certified disadvantaged businesses in state-funded contracts, specifically focusing on small businesses certified by the Oregon Certification Office for Business Inclusion and Diversity (COBID), including minority-owned, woman-owned, service-disabled veteran-owned, and emerging small businesses.
The form requires potential applicants to provide details about their existing relationships with certified and potentially disadvantaged firms, and their plans for subcontracting opportunities. Specifically, applicants must indicate if they are an Oregon certified firm, list firms they have contracted with in the past two years, describe steps they will take to solicit certified firms for subcontracting, outline potential subcontracting opportunities and their approximate dollar values, and confirm their willingness to report subcontractor identities and contract values to COBID. The document emphasizes that the information submitted will not be considered in any scored evaluation, but demonstrates the state's commitment to providing equal opportunities for disadvantaged businesses in procurement processes.
