About this file

This Statement of Work details meal service requirements for the Colorado Army National Guard's 168th RTI at Fort Carson, CO, covering delivery of prepared meals over multiple weekends from January-September 2025. The contract calls for 2,970 total meals: 900 breakfasts (50 per day), 1,620 lunches (90 per day), and 450 dinners (50 per day), to be delivered at specified times (breakfast 6:00-6:30am, lunch 11:30am-12:30pm, dinner 4:30-5:00pm).

The SOW specifies detailed portion requirements following myplate.gov guidelines, with minimum serving sizes for proteins (5-6.5oz), vegetables (2-3.5 cups), grains (3-4oz), and other components. Meals must be delivered family/buffet style with all necessary serving equipment, utensils, and condiments. The contractor must prepare food off-site within 1 hour transport distance. The requirement is 100% small business set-aside, with firm-fixed pricing and the government reserving the right to adjust quantities up to 7 days before delivery. Vendors must submit sample menus with their quotes and may invoice per CLIN/monthly period rather than waiting for full contract completion.
