About this file
The document is a set of specifications for roll-up fabric signs to be used for construction and warning sign applications. The signs must conform to the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) and meet certain retroreflectivity, color, and weathering requirements detailed in the Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) Standard Specifications. The signs must also use MASH-compliant portable sign supports. Vendors must provide third-party certification that the sign sheeting meets the specified requirements. This specification is associated with a state and local contract opportunity for "Roll-Up Construction Signs and Accessories" in the state of Nevada, specifically for Washoe County.
The contract will require vendors to provide roll-up fabric signs in fluorescent orange for construction and fluorescent yellow for warning applications. The signs must meet minimum retroreflectivity and luminance factor values outlined in the specification. Vendors must also provide FHWA letters of acceptance for the sign supports confirming NCHRP 350 or MASH compliance. No other pricing, set-aside, or funding details are provided in the document.
