Questions Regarding RFQ-CTS-082-15 (CTS in Rapid City, South Dakota)
Question 1: Please help clarify an inconsistency in the definition of the required medication monitoring services. In the Statement of Work, page 24, it says that medication monitoring should be priced per visit. The RFQ, page 4, indicates that 10 medication monitoring units are expected to be purchased annually. The assumption is that a unit equals one visit. However, the synopsis published on the Federal Business Opportunities website indicates an expectation of 6 visits per inmate for 10 inmates, which should total 60 visits per year instead of 10.
Response: CLIN 6051 Medication Monitoring is priced per visit. The solicitation reflects the total amount of units required for the base period and all option years. For example, CLIN 6051 medication monitoring will require 10 monitoring visits for the base period and each option year. A clerical error was made in the synopsis, but the solicitation has the accurate number of units that we are requesting for each service. The synopsis was amended to reflect one visit per inmate for 10 inmates totaling 10 visits.
Question 2: I have a question regarding page 9 of the RFQ, Section 52.27-103-72, DOJ Contractor Residency. The link in this section is broken to the website with current information on allied countries. I cannot find a comparable webpage on the OPM website. Can you recommend a comparable U.S. government webpage that will give us authoritative information that we can provide to our subcontractor?
I did try googling, but I only found some other .gov documents that repeat the same broken link.
Response:
Please use the following link to access allied countries with the United States: http://www.state.gov/s/l/treaty/collectivedefense/
