Additional clarification to Question #21 of the Answers-Questions document:

A). MRS staff currently provide services to both the Department of Veterans Affairs and

Private Sector; can Pre-Reg staff be 50% at vendor’s location site and 50% at government’s designated site? We would like flexibility of service request to be 100% if possible. Our organization would like to break out the customer service duties onsite per

PWS but also leverage our in-house capabilities remote.

Pre-registration staff will not work at the government’s designated site. They can be remote workers (where they work from their own homes) or work at the contractor’s site. That is at the discretion of the vendor. They cannot work onsite at the government site.

B). Answer #21 located on pg. 5 both scanning and preregistration services can be performed at Vendor site 100% remote?

Scanning cannot be remote (i.e. scanning cannot be completed at employees’ homes) as they will be working with confidential records and information on paper. They must work onsite at the contractor’s local office. They also cannot work onsite at the government’s office.

C). Does the Government anticipate any backlog Health Information Management

(Medical Coding Services)?

No.
