Questions #2

Question 1. To submit quote to we need to include all 19 pages from the CI-Solicitation IPP along with the Solicitation description stating requirements in the email?

Answer: According to clauses 52.212-1 INSTRUCTIONS TO OFFERORS -- COMMERCIAL ITEMS (JUNE 2008) & ADDENDUM TO 52.212-1, INSTRUCTIONS TO OFFERORS -- COMMERCIAL ITEMS (JUNE 2008) on page 9 of the clauses package the proper information must be returned with or on the proposal. ORCA may be submitted with the proposal if the vendor is not active in ORCA as well as filled out electronically.

Question 2. When we send in samples do you want a copy of what we emailed you above for the quote or should we just reference it?

Answer: According to ADDENDUM TO 52.212-1, INSTRUCTIONS TO OFFERORS -- COMMERCIAL ITEMS (JUNE 2008) on page 9 of the clauses package - (d) - A Sample of the custom folder being offered. Samples must be shipped according to the instructions on Page 1 and should be to the attention of "G. Westfall Avery 5F". The entire proposal is not requested to be mailed.

Question 3. Could you explain the two optional CLIN's? Does this mean that these prices may be different and would be two additional extensions of the same product and delivery requirements of 45 days after receipt?

Answer: According to the Solicitation description for FBO: CLIN 2 & CLIN 3: are optional line items exercised by the government when needed in the following periods. There are two different Period of Performance dates being considered. All the items are the same for all three lines, the delivery time must be met.

Question 4. Is there a signature required anywhere?

Answer: No, the proposal is accepted as the agreement that the vendor is proposing a quote for the stated items and able to supply the items according to the 52.212-4 CONTRACT TERMS AND CONDITIONS -- COMMERCIAL ITEMS (JUNE 2010) stated in the solicitation.

Question 5. Is there anywhere on the Solicitation that we need to sign or make note of Woman Owned presence? Is submitting these pages of the Solicitation intention that we are in compliance of what is required?

Answer: According to clauses 52.212-1 INSTRUCTIONS TO OFFERORS -- COMMERCIAL ITEMS (JUNE 2008) & ADDENDUM TO 52.212-1, INSTRUCTIONS TO OFFERORS -- COMMERCIAL ITEMS (JUNE 2008) on page 9 of the clauses package the proper information must be returned with the proposal, therefore the DUNS will be verified with CCR, ORCA and other necessary databases to verify the required information.

Question 6. On page 1 of Solicitation it says to mark shipment Block 4. Where on the shipment should we reference, "Block 4" ?

Answer: Disregard the Marking of Shipment statements. However, the offeror needs to follow the following statement: We are asking Contractors to submit folder samples; there are potentially two addresses that can be used depending on the method of shipment. Please use the guidance below when shipments are to be received:

-If contractors are shipping items via USPS, the shipping address must be 200 Third Street,Parkersburg, WV 26106-5312.
-If contractors are shipping items via FedEx or UPS, the shipping address must be 257 BosleyIndustrial Park Drive, Parkersburg, WV 26101
