About this file

This file is an attachment to Request for Quotation (RFQ) 863 issued by the State of Idaho for a Road Widener project. The attachment serves as a disclosure acknowledgment form addressing compliance with Idaho Code Title 18, Chapter 87, known as the No Public Funds for Abortion Act. The State of Idaho requires all contractors to disclose whether they or any affiliates are abortion providers and whether they will use State facilities or public funds to provide, perform, participate in, promote, induce, assist, counsel in favor of, refer for, or train persons for abortion-related activities, unless the contractor qualifies for one of the exemptions provided under the Act. State employees who intentionally violate the provisions of the Act are subject to criminal prosecution.

This disclosure requirement is mandatory for contract compliance and must be completed by all prospective bidders on the Road Widener project. Contractors are directed to refer to the full text of Idaho Code Title 18, Chapter 87 for detailed definitions of terms used in the disclosure section. The inclusion of this attachment in the RFQ solicitation documents ensures that all contractors acknowledge their obligations under state law regarding the prohibition of using public funds for abortion-related activities and establishes a documented record of contractor awareness and compliance with these statutory requirements.
