About this file
This document is a Questions & Answers (Q&A) file for Request for Quote (RFQ) RFQ395643 for Clinical Chemical & Immunoassay Analyzers issued by UT-Battelle LLC on behalf of Oak Ridge National Laboratory. The Q&A covers nine key questions from potential vendors, with critical details including that the solicitation is for instruments only, specifically requesting a floor model analyzer, and does not allow partial bids. The solicitation closes on 07/31/2025, with no extensions permitted and no further questions to be answered after the closing date.
The document indicates that future contracts for reagents and service are to be determined at a later date. Vendors with exceptions to the Terms and Conditions are instructed to redline the document, with UT-Battelle also authorized to utilize GSA Terms and Conditions if available. One notable open question remains unanswered regarding the chemistry analyzer's ISE unit and specific test requirements, as the Technical Procurement Official (TPO) was out of the office at the time of the solicitation closing.
