About this file

This document is Addendum #1 for Request for Quote (RFQ25 8742 PR) issued by the Orlando Utilities Commission (OUC) for the Stanton B Sulfuric Acid Tank Replacement project. The RFQ seeks a supplier to provide one 5,750-gallon horizontal sulfuric acid tank for the Stanton B Energy Center, with the supplier responsible for providing miscellaneous parts, lifting lugs, and special tools for offloading. The pre-response conference scheduled for September 18, 2025, has been changed to non-mandatory, though attendance is still highly recommended. The quote submission deadline remains October 3, 2025, at 2:00 pm local time, with all quotes to be submitted electronically via VendorLink.

The addendum clarifies that the plant will handle tank removal after delivery, and no additional tools or hardware are required beyond the two lifting lugs designed with the tank. The document emphasizes strict communication protocols, prohibiting any contact between suppliers, their employees, or subcontractors and OUC personnel other than the buyer of record. The RFQ is specifically for tank supply, with offloading and installation explicitly excluded from the scope of work. Contact for any additional information is Jonathan McLester from OUC's Strategic Sourcing department, who can be reached at jmclester@ouc.com or (407) 434-2217.
