RFQ0004887 – Handheld Tactical Flashlights Questions & Answers
· Is there an estimated yearly quantity or some type of historical purchase data available?
It is estimated that the FBI will consume a minimum of 720 units per year; however, the FBI cannot be held to that minimum.
· Is there an initial quantity that the FBI plans to purchase once the contract is awarded? If so, what’s the quantity?
The initial quantity the FBI intends to purchase once the contract is awarded is unknown at this time.
· Can the contractor submit more than one proposed item that meets specifications?
Yes, a contractor can submit more than one item for consideration. Only one award will be made for one item.
· Can the government provide any early indications on quantities for individual Delivery Orders?
The government cannot provide any early indications or quantities for individual delivery orders
· If the contractor wishes, may we provide a proposed price, as well as a discounted price for orders made in higher quantities?
It is up to the vendor to follow the guidelines of the RFQ for submitted documents.
· Are there any specifications listed that are of more importance to the eventual end users that our product can potentially exceed?
The government does not have a response to this question.
· While the estimated quantity is 720 per year is there an estimated quantity to be ordered per order/cycle or will these be ordered all at once?
The FBI does not have an estimated quantity to be ordered per order/cycle at this time.
· In the event of the awarded product being discontinued will acceptable replacements be open for price negotiation?
In the event the awarded product is discontinued prior to the end of the contract, the government will cancel the contract.
