About this file
This document is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) issued by the Oregon Military Department for post-burn restoration services at two military installations located in Morrow and Umatilla counties in eastern Oregon. The project requires the supply and application of native grass seed mixes over a potential total of 1,010 acres, with 240 acres at the Raymond F. Rees Training Center and up to 770 acres at the US Navy Boardman Bombing Range. Bidders are requested to provide a price per pound for the preferred seed mix, as well as an all-inclusive price per acre for the drill seeding application at the Boardman Bombing Range. Quotes must be received by September 8, 2023, at 10:00 AM. The seeding work is to be completed between November and February 2024.
Pricing terms include delivery of the seed FOB Umatilla, Oregon. The RFQ states a preference for vendors with experience in large-scale rangeland restoration projects. The project is funded by the Oregon Military Department and the US Navy, and all work dates must be scheduled to avoid conflicts with range activities at the Boardman Bombing Range.
