About this file
This document is a Request for Quote (RFQ) issued by the Illinois Department of Veterans Affairs for the procurement of battery-powered total body patient lifts with integrated digital scales. The RFQ specifies the required features, including an all-steel construction frame, three-position leg spreader, baked epoxy powder-coated paint, and a lift range of 42.5 inches with a weight capacity of 500 pounds. The RFQ requests pricing for the supply of five (5) units, including shipping. Vendors are required to submit their quotes electronically through the BidBuy system, and the quotes must remain valid for 180 days. The agency reserves the right to reject any or all offers and to award the contract in part or in whole.
The RFQ includes detailed technical specifications for the patient lifts, as well as COVID-19 protection requirements for vendors, including the use of face coverings, vaccination, or testing. Pricing must include shipping and handling, and no price increases will be accepted. The agency will select the winning vendor based on the lowest total bid for all products.
