2.1.1.1 All Horizontal Tanks are approximately 10-feet diameter by 26-feet long.

2.1.1.2 Vertical Tank is approximately 12-feet diameter by 24-feet tall (Containment enclosure is approximately 18.5-feet diameter by 12-feet tall)

2.1.1.3 Cleaning includes removing all residual Oil and Sludge and properly disposing of it in accordance with SOW Sections 2.1.3 and 3.5.

2.1.1.4 Contractor shall take all appropriate precautions to prevent any spillage of oil to the ground or tank containment area.

2.1.1.5 Cleaning must continue with personal located externally of the tank until lower explosive limits (LELs) are low enough to allow for entry into tank for final cleaning and inspection.

2.1.1.6 Contractor shall perform all work in SOW Section 2.4 to document and report final cleaning acceptance.

2.1.1.7 If a detergent/cutter or other chemical is planned to be used, contractor shall supply the estimated quantity required and brand to be used for this project with contractor’s offer.
