About this file

This document is a Request for Quote (RFQ) issued by the Illinois Department of Veterans Affairs for the provision of labor and materials to excavate, prep, and install a new concrete memorial wall. The RFQ specifies the required scope of work, which includes excavation and prep of the wall location, installation of the new concrete memorial wall, and installation of eight 12-inch concrete cylinder light bases. Bidders are required to provide unit pricing for each of these tasks, and the total cost will be the basis for award. The RFQ includes COVID-19 protection requirements, such as the use of face coverings, vaccination, or testing for contractors. Bids must be submitted electronically through the BidBuy system, and the bid validity period is 180 days.

The RFQ does not include any information about set-asides, incumbents, funding sources, or other salient details. Pricing terms indicate that shipping and handling charges must be included in the bid, and no price increases will be accepted. The agency reserves the right to reject all offers, award by item or group, and waive minor defects.
