About this file
This is a Request for Quotes (RFQ) issued by the Turner County Board of Education for fail safe door locks to be installed on interior doors at Turner County Elementary School. The project requires fail safe locks and lock boxes for 148 doors, including assembly, installation, and trash removal. The locks must be mechanical with no technology or power requirements, intended to be used during lockdown procedures in addition to normal locks. Quotes must be submitted by noon on February 06, 2025, to ben.lavender@turner.k12.ga.us. Site surveys of the school locations are available and can be coordinated with Operations Director Ben Lavender.
The Board of Education reserves the right to accept or reject any bid regardless of the amount quoted. No specific pricing terms, set-asides, or funding requirements are mentioned in the RFQ document. The scope appears to be a one-time installation project rather than an ongoing service contract.
