About this file
This document is a Request for Quote (RFQ) issued by the Illinois Department of Agriculture, Bureau of Meat and Poultry Inspection, seeking a vendor to provide various equipment and apparel items for their inspectors. The requested items include stainless steel hooks, frocks in multiple sizes, plastic chain, waterproof boots, aprons, sharpening steels, knives, flashlights, hard hats, cut-resistant gloves, disposable lab coats, scabbards, and ear protection. The vendor must bid on all items to be considered for an award. Delivery is required to the specified location in Springfield, Illinois. Vendors must submit any questions by January 2, 2020, and the RFQ will be awarded to the lowest cost vendor who can meet all specifications and requirements.
The RFQ outlines pricing terms, including the requirement for quoted prices to be valid for 90 days and include shipping and handling. The agency reserves the right to reject any offers, award by item or in total, and waive minor defects. The contract is contingent upon the availability of sufficient funds, and the agency can terminate or suspend the agreement if funds are not appropriated. Equivalent brands will be considered provided the vendor includes descriptive literature and specifications.
