About this file

This document is a Request for Quote (RFQ) issued by the Illinois Department of Veterans Affairs for a fence replacement project at the Illinois Veterans' Home in LaSalle. The project involves the removal and disposal of an existing 5-foot aluminum fence and the installation of a new 8-foot metal or aluminum fence, including a 4-foot gate with lock and key. The vendor is required to submit a photograph of the proposed fence structure and material. The project must be completed within 1 year and include a 1-year warranty for labor and materials. Vendors must comply with prevailing wage requirements and submit their quotes within 180 days of submission.

The RFQ outlines pricing terms, specifying that all quoted prices must include shipping and handling, and that no price increases will be accepted. The agency reserves the right to reject all offers, award by item or group of items, and accept "or equal" submissions that meet the required specifications. The winning vendor will be selected based on the lowest total bid.
