About this file
This document is a Request for Quote (RFQ) issued by the Illinois Department of Veterans Affairs (IDVA) for 17 new Bariatric Beds for the Illinois Veterans' Home - LaSalle. The beds must be equal or equivalent to the Prime Care Bed Model P703 with a 500 lb weight capacity, and include a foam mattress, footboard with staff controller, headboard, rotating assist rails, and height adjustability. Vendors must provide pricing that is valid for 180 days and include all shipping and handling charges. The IDVA reserves the right to award the contract by item, partially, or in total to the lowest responsive bidder. Vendor submissions offering "or equal" products that meet the required specifications will be considered.
The RFQ provides detailed instructions for vendors, including requirements to list brand names, model numbers, and expected delivery dates. Pricing will be evaluated on a total bid basis, and the IDVA reserves the right to reject any or all offers. The winning vendor must agree to partial shipments in case of delays on the total order.
