About this file
This document is a Request for Quote (RFQ) issued by the Illinois Department of Veterans Affairs for the removal and replacement of a 550-gallon diesel fuel tank and pump. The project specifications require furnishing and installing a new 550-gallon single-wall UL-listed tank, along with a new high-flow fuel pump, piping, and related equipment. The vendor must adhere to all applicable life safety codes and obtain approval from the State Fire Marshall. The RFQ also includes COVID-19 protection requirements per recent state executive orders. Quotes must be submitted electronically via email or the state's BidBuy portal prior to the due date. The estimated delivery time for the project must be provided, and all quoted prices must be valid for 180 days.
The RFQ states that the agency reserves the right to reject any or all offers, award by item or in total, and waive minor defects. Vendors may be required to partially ship equipment in case of delays. Pricing must include shipping and handling, and no price increases will be accepted. The winning vendor will be selected based on the lowest total bid for all products.
