Removal of Wood/Brush Pile Debris

Fort Laramie National Historic Site

Request for Quote

This is a request for a quote to remove approximately 255 cubic yards of mixed tree, shrub and leaf waste from park site and dispose of offsite. See photo below.

The debris is located at Fort Laramie National Historic Site, approximately one quarter mile north from the maintenance shop, in the park’s pasture.

The quarter mile road is a dirt track and work must be performed during dry road conditions.

An area for turning around trucks is limited at the debris location, recommended that a site visit is performed prior to submitting a bid.

A driving plan must be submitted to address minimal ground disturbance outside the two-track road.

The brush pile is inhabited with wild rabbits that are not to be harmed. As much as possible, caution must be taken to avert injury to the rabbits when driving to and from the site.

Minimal ground disturbance will be allowed at site.

Contractor must provide all equipment, trucks, manpower, supplies and materials, and dump site.
