About this file

This document is a Request for Quote (RFQ) issued by the Illinois Department of Veterans Affairs (IDVA) for the purchase of clothing protectors for the Illinois Veterans Home located in Quincy, Illinois. The RFQ specifies the required product details, including size, material, and closure type. It also outlines the expected delivery schedule, with two shipments per fiscal year, and the requirement for vendors to provide brand, model number, quantity per box/case, and unit pricing. The RFQ notes that the winning bidder may be asked to provide a sample product prior to finalizing the contract to ensure it meets the facility's needs. The contract will be awarded to the vendor with the lowest total bid.

The RFQ includes pricing terms, such as the requirement for quoted prices to be valid for 180 days, the inclusion of shipping and handling charges, and a prohibition on price increases. The IDVA reserves the right to reject all offers, award by item or group of items, and waive minor defects. The vendor must agree to partial shipments in the event of a delay on the total order.
