About this file

This is a Request for Quotes (RFQ #25-020) issued by the Floyd County Board of Commissioners in Georgia for shade screens to be installed at Alto Park. The RFQ seeks materials for custom shade structures across five different fields, specifically requesting custom hip shade items with varying dimensions (L36' x W12' x H9' and L18' x W12' x H9'), each with 4-6 columns and base plates. The project requires materials only, with no labor, as the Parks & Recreation Department will handle installation in-house. Quotes are due by 11:00 AM on April 29, 2025, and the county emphasizes the importance of completing material delivery in June/July. Bidders must submit documentation including a Bidders Declaration, Vendor Information, Non-Discrimination Certificate, Non-Collusion Certificate, Drug-Free Workplace Certificate, W-9, and other specified forms.

The RFQ includes detailed pricing requirements for different shade screen configurations, with bidders expected to provide unit pricing for each field and additional items like anchor hardware and templates. Floyd County is tax-exempt and considers the prices stipulated by bidders as maximum and not subject to increase due to taxes, shipping, or handling charges. The delivery destination is 1014 Burnett Ferry Road in Rome, GA, with payment terms of Net 30 Days after delivery. All communication regarding the bid should be directed to Randy E. Self in the Purchasing Department, with questions to be submitted via the Bonfire website or email no later than 5:00 PM on April 23, 2025. The county reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any informalities in the proposal process.
