This is Addendum Number One to Request for Quotes (RFQ) 2027-02-O issued by the St. Mary's County Metropolitan Commission in Maryland for water storage tower pressure washing services. The project requires exterior high-pressure water cleaning at 3,000 to 4,000 PSI on three water storage towers. The deadline for questions and requests for information is August 18, 2026, by 9:00 a.m. EST, with all inquiries directed to procurement@metcom.org. Site visits are available and coordinated through the pre-bid conference process outlined in the original RFQ scope of work. The scope of work explicitly covers exterior surface cleaning only, with no interior tank work included. All qualified contractors, including out-of-state vendors, meeting the experience and qualification requirements specified in the RFQ are eligible to submit proposals. Specific tower descriptions, locations, heights, storage capacity, and tank type information are referenced in Section B of the RFQ's specific provisions.

The addendum does not provide explicit pricing terms, set-aside information, or contract duration details within its content. No incumbent contractor is identified, and no specific funding amounts or sources are disclosed in this addendum document. Contractors are instructed to provide quotes for all labor, materials, equipment, profit, overhead, and means and methods necessary to complete the pressure washing project.
