About this file
This document is a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) issued by the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) for Insurance Brokerage Services Providers. The RFQ seeks to establish a pool of qualified insurance brokers to provide comprehensive insurance services to LAUSD contractors and vendors for various insurance coverages, including commercial automobile, general liability, professional liability, sexual abuse and molestation, cyber liability, and property insurance. The solicitation is open on an ongoing basis, with brokers able to submit Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) for review and potential inclusion in the district's qualified provider list.
The RFQ requires insurance brokers to be licensed in California and provide proof of their own insurance coverage, including $1,000,000 in commercial general liability and $1,000,000 in errors and omissions coverage. Interested brokers must submit a comprehensive SOQ not exceeding 5 pages, detailing their qualifications, experience, administrative offices, key contacts, litigation history, and specific insurance products and carriers. LAUSD emphasizes that inclusion in the broker pool does not guarantee any level of participation or service, and contractors/vendors will have the autonomy to directly engage with brokers from the qualified list. The district makes no endorsement of any broker and will not intervene in or support insurance selection processes.
