About this file

This is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) issued by the Idaho Department of Fish & Game for the purchase and delivery of custom-built headache racks. The RFQ seeks quotes from qualified vendors for eighteen custom-built headache racks to be installed on state vehicles: thirteen Chevy Silverado 1500 trucks and five Chevy Silverado 2500 trucks. The racks must be newly manufactured, latest model units that meet detailed specifications including structural requirements to support 3,000 pounds of dead weight, powder-coated black steel construction, integrated lighting provisions, and winch mounting capabilities. Vendors must establish accounts in the IPRO Supplier Portal system and submit responses electronically through that platform or via email to the solicitation contact, Dana Jo McGee (DanaJo.McGee@idfg.idaho.gov, 208-287-2816). The specific closing date and deadline for questions are referenced as "See IPRO" within the document. Award will be made on an all-or-none basis to the responsive, responsible vendor submitting the lowest total cost.

Contractors must be located within seventy-five miles of the delivery location in Nampa, Idaho, and are responsible for vehicle pickup, rack installation, and return delivery within thirty calendar days of taking possession. Required submittals include a completed price sheet, signature page, and certificate of insurance. The resulting contract will be issued as a Purchase Order and incorporates the State of Idaho Standard Contract Terms and Conditions (July 2026), Solicitation Instructions for Vendors (January 2017), and the RFQ specifications. Contractors must provide a minimum one-year warranty covering all parts, labor, equipment, and freight, with factory-authorized repair facilities required within a one-hundred-mile radius of the delivery location. Invoicing and payment follow Idaho Code 67-2302, with payment due after acceptance and inspection of the completed racks. The acceptance period is thirty calendar days from delivery, during which any discrepancies must be corrected by the contractor at no additional cost to IDFG. Vendors must provide current, signed written agreements with manufacturers confirming authorized dealer or reseller status for the products being quoted.
