Clarifications and Exceptions The bill of material is based on our best interpretation of the information provided with the request for quotation. The quotation supplied for this project may not meet the local code/ordinance requirement unless specifically identified in the customer documentation supplied for review. The bill of material should be reviewed to ensure that the equipment quoted meets the project requirements. The following clarifications are provided to emphasize issues not specifically stated in the bill of material.

This proposal is based on standard lugs for copper conductors unless noted otherwise. Lugs for oversized aluminum conductors may affect the quoted price.

None:

1) Furnished by others unless noted otherwise: Studies, LV & spare MV Fuses 261116.11, 2.4, D., 3., NETA Testing, NEC Testing, IR Scanning, Voltage Monitoring, Primary & Secondary Injection Testing.

2) 261116.11, 2.6. - Busway Specifications have not been provided. Proposing Copper conductors.

3) 261116.11, 2.4., A., 1. - Metal Enclosed Switchgear is not arc-resistant, although inherent arc-limiting characteristics are inherent:

Switch Compartment:

• Sealed for life in SF6 gas

• Interruption in sealed enclosure

◦ No external arcing The qualities of SF6 gas are used to extinguish the electrical arc. The arc appears when the fixed and moving contacts separate. The combination of the current and the magnetic field created by the current cause arc rotation around the stationary contact.

This rotation produces arc extension and cooling until the arc is extinguished at current zero. After this, the distance between the fixed and moving contacts is sufficient to withstand the recovery voltage. This system provides extended electrical endurance due to very low wear on the contacts.

4) 261116.11 - PZ4 UL1558 LVDO Switchgear: E., 3.6 - Slow closing not available.

5) Drawing E1.0EP, Metering Note 2.: Junction Box & Cable furnished by others.

THIS EQUIPMENT WILL BE PURCHASED BY THE

OWNER UNDER A SEPERATE CONTRACT. THIS

CONTRACT SHALL INCLUDE TAKING DELIVERY,

INSTALLATION, AND STARTUP OF THE EQUIPMENT

DESCRIBED BELOW.

6) Proposing standard 18-month warranty from date of shipment unless noted otherwise.

Complementary 12-months additional warranty for a total of 30-months from date of shipment is available for products that include Square D on-site Services.

7) All paint is standard ANSI 49 or ANSI 61 gray as indicated in this proposal unless noted otherwise.

8) Factory witness testing is not included unless noted otherwise. Add $9,000.00 net per device per day if required. Travel & Lodging expenses are not included.

9) Schneider Electric does not guarantee compliance with the 2020 NEC 240.87 Arc Energy requirements unless specifically noted in our Bill-of-Material.

Please reference the detailed Schneider Electric 2020 NEC 240.87 Arc Energy Reduction disclaimer that is available upon request for more information and contact your local Schneider team for assistance.
