About this file
This document is an addendum to a Request for Proposals (RFP) issued by the Oregon Department of Forestry (ODF) for Type 2 Restricted Category Turbine Powered Helicopter Services. The addendum modifies sections related to minimum qualifications, proposal submissions, helicopter summaries, certifications, permits, licenses, and aircraft mechanic requirements. Key changes include requiring current federal carding through the USFS or DOI Office of Aviation Services for aircraft, pilots, mechanics, and equipment, and providing proof of inspection dates if carding expires before June 1. The RFP is for a contract to provide helicopter services to Marion County and the City of Salem.
The addendum also includes updated Helicopter Summary forms (Exhibit E and Attachment G) that proposers must complete and submit, along with copies of the required USFS/OAS cards. The contract term, renewal options, and any pricing terms or set-asides were not provided in the addendum. Proposers must submit any protests to the addendum in the manner and timeframe required in the original RFP.
