About this file
This document is an Addendum to a Request for Proposal (RFP) issued by the State of Iowa Department of Administrative Services (DAS) for professional design services for electrical service upgrades at the Iowa Medical Classification Center (IMCC) in Coralville, Iowa. The Addendum modifies the original RFP dated December 4, 2023, by clarifying that IMCC staff will assist the design team to open junction boxes and panels during the schematic design phase, rather than the awarded consultant needing to hire an electrician. The proposal due date remains unchanged.
The pricing terms, set asides, incumbent details, funding requirements, and other financial information are not specified in this Addendum. However, the Addendum indicates that the RFP is for the DOC IMCC Electrical Service Upgrades project, which involves professional design services for electrical service upgrades at the IMCC facility in Coralville, Iowa.

a. Q. Based on the scope of work to add more capacity and Service/refurbish/repair/replace existing equipment, it would seem appropriate to have an electrician onsite to open junction boxes and panels to better understand existing conditions during the Schematic design.
