RFP-621-10-001

(Answers are in blue fonts)

1) Why is special consideration not being given to 8(a) firms?

Answer 1:

This activity is the initial phase of a much larger General Mills International public-private partnerships initiative that will extend to as many as 12 other millers in Tanzania. This activity is to jump-start this anticipated expansion of the General Mills Business and Technical Skills Initiative in Tanzania. The lead implementation of the activity then will revert to AID/W. The General Mills Business and Technical Skills Initiative may involve 12-14 other sub-Saharan countries.

2) Can you please provide the specifications and spare parts required for the cooker extrusion?

Answer 2:

At this time General MIlls International is recommending the INSTA PRO Model 2500 Extruder with Side Feeder, Inline Design, including a customized package of spare parts.
