About this file

This document is an Addendum No. 1 to Request for Proposal (RFP) No. 24-0002 issued by the Finance Department Purchasing Division of the Columbus Consolidated Government in Columbus, Georgia. The RFP is for Truck and Trailer Wrap Graphics for the Parks and Recreation Department. Vendors are required to provide full vehicle and trailer wraps, and the recommended vendor will help design the wraps incorporating the provided logos. The wraps can be installed either at the vendor's location or at the Fleet Maintenance facility provided by the City. The RFP also addresses questions from potential vendors, including clarification that out-of-state vendors will be required to obtain a business license through the City's Revenue Division if awarded the contract.

The RFP does not provide details on pricing terms, set asides, incumbents, funding requirements or sources, or contract renewal options. The focus is on the technical requirements for the vehicle and trailer wraps, the design process, and the installation location options.

ADDENDUM No. 1

TRUCK AND TRAILER WRAP GRAPHICS

FOR PARKS AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT

(RE-BID)

PQ No. 24-0002

Use the form provided in the solicitation to acknowledge receipt of this addendum.

Failure to do so may result in your submittal being deemed non-responsive and not receiving further consideration for award.

Vendors are informed that the above subject solicitation is hereby modified, corrected, or supplemented as specified, described and set forth in this Addendum:

I. QUESTIONS/RESPONSES

1. The bid states Columbus is looking to wrap the entire vehicle and entire trailer, except for certain areas.

But, after viewing the exhibits, I think it would be much more affordable to brand the truck and trailer with vehicle decals. They are made of the same material as the wrap, resist the elements, and come with a warranty. Is it acceptable to bid to this smaller scope, or is it whole wrap only?

Response: The whole wrap is required.

2. Is there a layout for these vehicles?

Response: There is no layout. The recommended vendor will help the Department design the wrap for the trailer and the truck.

3. If not, are we required to do the design?

Response: The recommended vendor will help the Department design the wrap for the trailer and the truck. Refer to page 22, Appendix C, for images of the logos that will be incorporated into the design.

4. Will these be full wraps?

COLUMBUS CONSOLIDATED GOVERNMENT

Addendum No. 1 RFP No. 24-0002 Page 2 of 2

Response: Yes.

5. Do you want the vehicles wrapped on site? If so, do you have an indoor space for wrapping?

Response: Per page 15, Section VII. Installation, “The awarded vendor will be provided the option of installing the wrap graphics at either the location of their business, or Fleet

Maintenance, 1011 Cusseta Road, Columbus, Georgia.” If installing the wraps at Fleet

Maintenance, an indoor space will be provided.

6. In reference to Business License: [The specifications state] “Vendors located in Muscogee County shall submit a current copy of their City of Columbus Business License (Occupation License). If the business is not located in Muscogee County and has proof of being properly licensed by a municipality in Georgia, and paid applicable occupation taxes in that city, the vendor will not be required to pay occupation taxes in Columbus, Georgia." How [do] out of state vendors submit a bid since we cannot fulfil this requirement at this time?

Response: If an award recommendation is made for an out-of-state vendor, said vendor will be required to obtain a license through the City’s Revenue Division.

II. ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

Indicate that your company has received this Addendum in the appropriate areas and include with electronic response. Failure to acknowledge receipt of this addendum may render your Bid “Incomplete”.
